The Wine Vault offers weekly wine tastings on Fridays. All tastings include a diverse selection of wines from around the world and close to home. Most wines are from small batch wineries that take care and pride in their wine making. Bluegrass Night at Pro Pig

A mix of different Bluegrass groups will play at the brewery. The brewery offers $5.00 ProPig Beer Specials, seasonal margaritas, amazing sandwiches and small bites. Event is indoors, however there are outdoor fire pits to enjoy if you’re bringing a pup!

Waterbury Winterfest

January 29th

Come celebrate the magic of winter in Waterbury during the five days of Waterbury Winterfest’s indoor and outdoor event starting Wednesday, Jan. 29, with traditional bluegrass at ProPig and a Beer Quiz at Blackback. Five local venues host the Wassailing singing competition on Thursday. Try a fat bike demo at Saturday’s Party in the Park while the kids play snow soccer, adults play snow volleyball and teams compete at Winter Bocce. Waterbury Library, Makersphere & the Senior Center host indoor events. On Sunday, skiers and snowshoers join in a backwoods adventure in the descent from Blush Hill to Little River.
New events this year include a historical retrospective on Lost Ski Areas, the Friday Night Winterfest Block Party & Silent Auction on Elm St., and Ice Disco at the Ice Center on Saturday night. Local sponsor recognition and more details are available at www.waterburywinterfest.com
